He is such a sweet, lovable and friendly dog. He is the pure joy of life and we hope that he will find quickly a great home, possible ground level, because he has hip dysplasia. Becky (P)

Date of birth: October 2006 High to shoulder: 50 cm Vaccinated: yes Neutered: yes Homed: May 2014 Once again, history repeats itself. A dog is purchased, passed from A to B but nowhere is she really wanted, so now let’s just discard her! And not simply thrown out on the road to fend for herself, but they wanted to take Becky’s life. Just another example of why these dogs desperately need help. Becky’s life until now has not been great. Although she has lived with a family she was kept outside in the garden, not allowed into the house. It is difficult for a dog to learn the behaviours we want them to have when they are just left outside. The shelter and death we have saved her from, but now she needs the love and security of a home in a family that really wants Becky. Becky is about 6-7 years old, already neutered, vaccinated and chipped. She is still a very agile and happy dog and tries constantly to adapt to her changing circumstances. Within a relatively short time she has learned to be clean in the house and tries hard. She has integrated well into the existing pack of dogs and enjoys every bit of attention she can get from people. She shows no fears, she is happy to go in the car, walks on a leash and loves people above all else. Becky still needs a lot of training but has already partially mastered basic commands. Sadly, no-one before ever devoted much time to her education. She is a lovable dog who just wants to be loved back. We suspect that she has a lot Springer Spaniel in and when she looks at people with her beautiful eyes, she will melt your heart. Date of birth: August 2013 High to shoulder: 26 cm Vaccinated: yes Neutered: yes Homed: May 2014 Sheba and her mother were found as a stray. Sheba is a very lively dog. She is full of energy and wants to play and run all day. She also likes people but she is still a bit cautious. Then she barks of uncertainty. When she is on the arm, she is very cuddly and enjoys the cuddles. Sheba will remain small and is therefore the ideal lap dog. She will bring a lot of fun and life in a family. She is a beautiful girl, but still afraid about many things. It shows that she didn’t have a good life until now. We are sure that she’ll loos her fear as time passes by. She was terrified about the camera, because she has never seen one before. She is good with other dogs and also with kids, if they handle her calmly. Myrtle (F)

Date of birth: January 2014 High to shoulder: 29 cm Vaccinated: yes Neutered: not yet Homed: May 2014 Myrtle was found in a field with her five. It wasn’t easy to catch her as she crawled into a hole. She was the last of the puppies that was caught, but it happened on a different day to the others. 2 siblings are already reserved and only Myrtle, Mabel, Marcus and Melody are still looking for a home now. We assume that all four with be small to medium sized dogs. They are typical puppies and have no fear of humans. They run towards people not away from them! In their foster home they are getting used to day to day life. Currently the most important things to the Gang of Four are: playing, sleeping, playing… oh, and is there something else? Jeff (F)

Date of birth: January 2014 High to shoulder: currently 35 cm Vaccinated: yes Neutered: not yet Homed: May 2014 Jeff was with his brothers Josh, Jake and Jasper, found more dead than alive in the middle of nowhere. The fact that the four are still alive, they owe just to a happy coincidence, otherwise they would all have died of thirst miserably. Now in a foster home they have recovered and all four are healthy and happy. Their first vaccinations have been done and the vet has confirmed that the 4 guys doing very well. Now we hope that we will soon find homes for the Gang of Four! If you want a big dog that you can do a lot with, which is agile, intelligent and athletic… then one of theses four would be just perfect for you. The four are now at an age where they want to learn and with the necessary training, you will soon have a great companion by your side. All four are very eager to learn and their foster home is full of praise for them. Jeff’s tail was unfortunately cropped. So it is shorter than it should be… but this does not detract from his beauty. Like his brothers, he also has a shiny black coat and beautiful eyes.
