We wish our babies a safely arrival in Hamburg und a wonderful new life!
Our girl Daniela is safely arrived in her foster home in 24647 Wasbek / Germany and is now looking for her forever home.
She is just the perfect girl: cute, smart, lovely, nice, not pushy, good in the house and in the car, she loves walks and cuddles very much.
The family who gets her one day will crack the jackpot. Tickets are still available, anyone?
Today on Friday 13th January 2017 eight more dogs are allowed to fly off to their forever and foster homes in Germany.
We wish our happy pooches a safely arrival in Hamburg and a wonderful new life.
… formerly known as Beauty.
Our little girl is safely arrived in her forever home in Germany and has settled in very nicely. She lives her dream life with her new mommy and she said, that her mommy is doing all the things that she wants. Maybe Kea is now a little princess. 😉
Wednesday 4th January 2017 was a big day for Viva, Bruno, Dotty and Diego. It was time to leave the shelter and the island and to fly off to a new unknown life to Germany.
All babies are landet safe in Hamburg and have settled in very nicely in their foster and forever homes.
Unfortunately, we have only arrival pictures from Bruno and Diego and here they are:
Roxanne is safely arrived in her foster home in 29553 Bienenbüttel and has settled in very nicely.
She is a very friendly and lovely girl and everyone who get to know her fell in love with her. She is already house-trained and shows no interests in the cats of the family.
If you want to meet our big Beauty, please contact Zypernpfoten in Not.
Emmi has landed on her paws in her lovely new forever home.
Emmi came, saw and conquered and was loved from the first minute. All people around her love her from the first sight, because she is just cute and friendly.
We wish Emmi many happy years in her home in Germany.
Tomorrow is a day with a lot of work for our volunteers in Cyprus and Germany. Two planes go on their journey with our treasures aboard.
The first plane lands in Berlin at 12.25 pm with two of our long term shelter dogs aboard. Bobby is already adopted and Yianna will hopefully find her forever home soon.
The second plane lands in Hamburg at 5.55 pm with Bruno, Dotty, Diego and Viva aboard.
Bruno is one of our elderly shelter boys and we are very happy that he is allowed to change the cold kennel with a warm cozy basket in a foster home in Germany. Dotty had to wait too long for her chance. She is a young beautiful girl. But she gets her chance now in a foster home in Germany and we think she will find her forever home soon. Diego and Viva are happy puppies, but only Viva is still looking for her forever home.
Wednesday, 21st of December 2016, was a big day for 12 of our dogs and for all people which were involved on this day. A fly off of 12 dogs means a lot of work and organization, in Cyprus and in Germany.
Before the dogs could fly they have to go to the vet for a last check, and then they have to go to the beauty centre for a last bath and treatment. When the time is coming some volunteers have to drive to the vet/beauty centre to pick all dogs up, to prepare the cages and boxes and to bring all dogs safely to the airport.
Svenja is in her forever home since about two month and has settled in very good. She is still a shy girl, but her family is working on it day by day and they also go to a dog school.
Svenja loves her family very much, this includes the family cat. Svenja maybe thinks she is also a cat. She loves to be petted. She also loves to lay on the couch with her family.
Svenja says thank you to all involved people of her rescue. She loves her new life.
She is celebrating New Year’s Eve with her buddy Sammy (left).
Little boy Jaron is safely arrived in his german foster home in 25482 in Appen. He has settled in very nicely.
Jaron is on his way to overcome his shyness. We guess, that he has had not many good experience with humans, but he trust humans more and more.
Jaron is friendly to everyone, good with dogs and cats, he is good on the leash and loves cuddles and walks.
If you are interested to meet Jaron, please go in touch with Zypernpfoten in Not.

She is such a happy girl now!
Hazel´s wish is, that all the other stray and shelter dogs will find such a good home like she has found.

We wish all involved a good day and a trouble-free running tomorrow. Have a good life cute babies!
Six month ago Rex is safely arrived in Germany. Rex is the past, Rico is the future.
Rico has settled in very nicely, his new family is very happy to have him. He likes his daily walks, but the best is sleeping and to get cuddles.
Our “little” boy Emil is safely arrived in his forever home in Germany and has settled in very nicely. New life – new name. He is now called Hunter.
Hunter got only a new family, he got also a new “brother”. They look like twins. They are now best buddies and doing everything together. They love each other.
… who is now called Paul from his new home in Germany.
He is safely arrived and his new mommy is very happy to have him by her side. Podgekins is a clever boy, he has a lot of energy, sometime too much for the other dog of the family 😉 Paul enjoys his long walks in the mountains and at the sea.
Our girl Helen is in her foster home in Germany since a while and is still looking for her forever family. She can be visited in Norderstedt near Hamburg.
Helen is one of our dogs which get a chance instead she is tested positive for leishmaniasis. She is doing great and shows no signs of illness. She gets one pill twice a day of Allopurinol and she is happy like the other dogs in the family.
Helen is a very charming girl. She is looking for attention, love and cuddles. She is good on walks and loves to play with other dogs.
If you want to meet Helen, please contact our sister organization Zypernpfoten in Not.
… in his foster home in Germany and shows his brave and calm nature. Because he such a sweet boy, someone has fallen already in love with him and offered him a loving home.
Good luck Sweetie!

Our little girl shows herself from the best side, she a really sweet and brave girl.
Dallas is now already reserved,so fingers crossed for our cute baby.
One week ago, on 3rd of December 2016, CyDRA had called for a Christmas Party and 80 friends and supporters have followed the call.
We were looking forward to this event, because on such an evening all the worries and thoughts about our four-legged friends can go into the background for a while. It was a really great evening with lots of laugh, dance and celebrate.
At the beginning of the evening we showed a film about the kennels we support to give our guests an insight into our work. It was not the easiest part of the evening, but it belongs to our work…
… but after the film the party could started.
7 Months ago Luna landet with her paws in her forever home in Germany. Since then she is a loved family member. She has settled in very nicely.
Luna loves her very long walk on the weekends and to go to the dog school.
The CyDRA Team wishes Luna a long life and to be always happy in her new life. All the best for you beautiful lady!
Here is a arrival impression from Tuesday 29th November 2016 in Hamburg. All dogs landet safely and are now in a foster home in Germany and waiting for their forever home.
Our little Edward has grown up into a handsome Eddy. He has settled in very nicely in his new home. He is a very brave and lovely boy. He gets a lot of exercises and is allowed to go to a dog school, which is always fun for him. He is a clever boy and has quickly learned all the things he needs to know.
Eddy´s family is very happy and grateful to have him by their side and we think Eddy is happy too!
Our formerly long term shelter dog Petra met our brown beauty Sami in Germany. Sami was in the same foster home as Petra was, before she got adopted. So Petra´s family visited their foster baby Sami together with Petra and all had a lovely and funny day.
Of course it was difficult to get a good picture, because both babies loved to play and ran with each other.
Both families wish all Cyprus dogs which are looking for a family a good and safe home.
About two weeks ago Albert was allowed to fly off and to move into a foster home in Seevetal/Germany near Hamburg.
Albert surprised with his calm and quite nature. Maybe he looks like he could be a little whirlwind, but he is not. He is well behaved in the house and very good with other dogs. He is not dominant and is more in the second row – he is not pushy.
If you can not resist his eyes (we could really understand it ), please go in contact with Zypernpfoten in Not and meet our darling.
We received many greetings from Sammy formerly called Nesh.
He was rehomed as a puppy and has now grown up to a beautiful handsome boy.
Sammy and his family wishes you all the best and a wonderful Christmas time.
We have fantastic news for Bert: our boy has found a foster home in Germany. Soon he is allowed to pack his case and let the bars behind him! We are soooo happy for our boy. After long 8 years in the shelter! he can begin a new life.
Hey folks,
my name is Bert and I am 8 years old, born 2008 in Cyprus, somewhere in the near of Nicosia.
Volunteers catched us from a field, where me, my mom and my siblings lived.
We had a hard life there, no water, no food and no one cares about us. Ahm, ok, the residents „cared „ about us. They wanted to poison us, because we were unwanted there.
I reminds me, that it was a warm day in autumn as we were brought to a place to many other dogs. The humans call it a shelter. My mom and we pups were not happy about it. We didn´t know humans, we didn´t know what they wanted from us, if they were friendly or not. It was not a nice place, we had not much space in our kennel and it was dirty and loud. In 2008 there were not enough volunteers there, like now. We had nearly no contact to humans, expect from the time we got food and the pen got cleaned. After some years the situation changed. The shelter got bigger and more and more volunteers offered their help…
Shona´s new mommy is very happy to have her by her side. She is such a beautiful and brave girl. Last year at christmas Shona flew with her mommy to Fuerteventura and was allowed to fly aboard in the cabin.
For reminder: before Shona was rehomed to Germany, she was given up by the owner with some other pure breed pooches. Unwanted in Cyprus, and very welcome in Germany. Great happy ending!
Comet has grown up to a stunning boy!
Comet was rehomed in Cyprus at the end of March this year. He was renamed because he has a ‘comet drop’ marking on his head. 🙂
He is doing fantastic and his family absolutely adore him. He has just completed his intermediate obedience course. He is still a very boundy and excited boy but is a complete softy and loves his cuddles.
Thank you and your family very much for the update. Very lovely to hear that our boy is doing well.
Five months ago our girl Julia flew off to her foster home in Mannheim/Germany. Since then she is waiting for her final happiness. We can´t understand, that no one snapped her away. She is such a cute and brave girl. She is good on the leash, house-trained, friendly to everyone, is good with kids and loves to be stroked.
Where are her people? She can be visited in Mannheim, if you are interested to meet her.
… who is now called Klausi!
Klausi is rehomed since two weeks. He came, saw and conquered. His family is very in love with him.
Klausi is a very open-minded boy, he is brave and smart. In future he will be allowed to visit a dog school. Of course to learn new things and also for exercises.
Klausi could not be happier, and his family too.
Two weeks ago Sami is safely arrived in his foster home in Uetersen/Germany. He is still a shy boy, notably men cause discomfort to him. So a household only with women would be the best for him.
Sami loves his foster mommy and follows her on every step. He is house-trained, loves his walks, he is good on the leash and loves to get cuddles.
You would like to meet Sami? Please get in touch with Zypernpfoten in Not.
