Date of birth: May 2014 High to shoulder: 21 cm Vaccinated: yes Neutered: not yet Homed: September 2014 Dixie was discovered and rescued in a village along with his brothers Dennis and Dougie, his sisters Daisy, Domino and Pandora and their mum. The six are now 10 weeks old, healthy and jolly. As much as they love each other and all get on great, it is now time for them to find their own place in their own family. They are all small still, between 19 cm and 24 cm, so will grow a little more They currently live in their own designer home at the shelter, built for them because there was ‘no room at the inn’! Jake 2 (P)

Date of birth: January 2014 High to shoulder: currently 48 cm Vaccinated: yes Neutered: not yet Homed: September 2014 Jake was with his brothers Josh, Jeff and Jasper, found more dead than alive in the middle of nowhere. The fact that the four are still alive, they owe just to a happy coincidence, otherwise they would all have died of thirst miserably. Now in a foster home they have recovered and all four are healthy and happy. Their first vaccinations have been done and the vet has confirmed that the 4 guys doing very well. Now we hope that we will soon find homes for the Gang of Four! If you want a big dog that you can do a lot with, which is agile, intelligent and athletic… then one of theses four would be just perfect for you. The four are now at an age where they want to learn and with the necessary training, you will soon have a great companion by your side. All four are very eager to learn and their foster home is full of praise for them. Jake’s tail was unfortunately cropped. So it is shorter than it should be .. but this does not detract from his beauty. Like his brothers, he also has a shiny black coat and beautiful eyes. Date of birth: April 2014 High to shoulder: 34 cm Vaccinated: yes Neutered: not yet Homed: September 2014 Cita had the great luck to have been born in a foster home with her brothers and sisters Chocolata, Cid, Clou, Cristo and Chilly. The foster home has foster the mother dog Chocco before the puppies were born. All six have become fun-loving and happy puppies who follow their foster mother everywhere. There are cats in the foster home and the puppies and Chocco are fine with them. His coat was in a bad condition and needed to be shaved. Also he has a cut tail, we don’t know if he was born like this, or if people did it to him. Mahalis has a wonderful character. He is a very loving and nice dog. He loves people and other dogs. He lived in his family with two more dogs, which also were left behind in the shelter. Chanel (P)

Date of birth: April 2004 High to shoulder: 50 cm Vaccinated: yes Neutered: yes Homed: September 2014 Chanel was captured on the main road near the shelter of an animal rights activist. Unfortunately, the whole story is about Chanel is unclear, but it is known that she has lived her life in a home. She is nearly 10 years old, so an older dog. As far as we can make out, Chanel was taken by her owner to their grandmother, because the owner was leaving the country to go to America but no one knows the full truth. The fact is that Chanel is the shelter, after 9 years in a home! She is unhappy, but has settled down somewhat. Nevertheless, Chanel continues to be much more interested in people than in other dogs, but is fine with other dogs. She would probably be happier as a single dog, as she does like to have all the fuss to herself when other dogs are around. Chanel will need regular and proper grooming. She does seem to know some basic commands and walks well on a leash, and, despite her age, she is still fit and enjoys walking.
