Date of birth: April 2014 High to shoulder: 38 cm Vaccinated: yes Neutered: not yet Homed: September 2014 Chilly had the great luck to have been born in a foster home with her brothers and sisters Cita, Chocolata, Cid, Clou and Cristo. The foster home has foster the mother dog Chocco before the puppies were born. All six have become fun-loving and happy puppies who follow their foster mother everywhere. There are cats in the foster home and the puppies and Chocco are fine with them. We want an active home for all these dogs with owners who are keen to be active too, because these dogs love long walks. If one of the six puppies is the right dog for you then please contact us. Read MoreDate of birth: July 2013 High to shoulder: 53 cm Vaccinated: yes Neutered: yes Homed: September 2014 Max was completely dehydrated and half-starved when his rescuer found him in the fields near found at her home. Although she already had four dogs and countless cats under her wings, she took Max home without hesitation home to give him a safe place. Thankfully, blood tests showed that Max is healthy and he’s really relaxed in his foster home. Max has a lot of energy, loves to play, has a wonderful, gentle character, and of course is great with the other dogs and also with cats. He is very cuddly and affectionate, but also very joyful. One of his favourite pastimes is hunting shadows. His own shadow … or sometimes other shadows … he finds this such fun! On walks he walks with no lead and comes back on call. Max is a very intelligent dog and could still learn a lot more. If you have fallen in love with Max please, please contact us now as Max cannot remain in his foster home. We very much hope that he soon finds his forever home, because the foster home must move soon and with 5 dogs and all the cats will be a very difficult undertaking. Let Max get the maximum out of a new life with you. He will give you maximum love in return! Related...
Read MoreDate of birth: August 2012 High to shoulder: 41 cm Vaccinated: yes Neutered: yes Homed: September 2014 Sophie was just tied to the gate of the shelter and left there alone. All night she had to endure this until the first helpers arrived to start work. Sophie was not really relieved because the people scared her. She probably thought they may hurt her because it seems she hasn’t experienced a lot of good times in her life so far. She has been in the shelter for quite a while now and is still shy, but she always is happy about people visiting her kennel. As long as she does not feel you want or expect something from her she is even pretty relaxed. She didn’t much like the photographs and filming. She didn’t understand what this person wanted and what the thing in front of his head or in his hand was – she thought it might mean danger. So you can see on the video a completely submissive and insecure dog, and this is Sophie. But you can also see the love in her eyes and the gentle creature that she is, the tentative wag when you talk to her. Sophie is not a typical scared dog and she has taken the first steps on the way to confidence. What she now lacks is the attention of her own family and lots of love. When she has that you will see a determined and totally carefree dog who will be capable of discovering the joys of life and especially the world at last, sheltered by her own family. If you have fallen in love with Sophie and want to help her make a new start, then please contact us. Related...
Read MoreDate of birth: April 2014 High to shoulder: 35 cm Vaccinated: yes Neutered: not yet Homed: September 2014 Brad was ‘given up’, together with his two brothers, to PAWS. The puppies were so sweet, and round as a ball. It seems that they had not been badly treated before and had had enough food. His two brothers have already found a home, only Brad is still waiting in the shelter for his own chance. He grows and thrives, but we can’t tell how big Brad will be … Even for specialists, it is very difficult to say which breeds are mixed up in him! Everyone agrees though that he is a wonderful, handsome, happy puppy. He shares his kennel with his dog buddy, they get along very well but both are wanting their own home. If you have fallen in love with Brad, and would like to embark on an adventure with him, we are sure that he will put a smile on your face every day. Of course, Brad still needs training because he probably does not know yet about life in a home but we are sure that he will learn quickly, and will be a very lovely boy. If you want to share your life with him, please get in touch. Related...
Read MoreDate of birth: February 2012 High to shoulder: 45 cm Vaccinated: yes Neutered: yes Homed: September 2014 Lady is another dog found outside of Nicosia. At first she was quite shy which leads us to believe she must have had bad experience with people before. However, it didn’t take long for her to start to trust us – it’s amazing how dogs give us humans a second chance! She is also very good with other dogs. No doubt she still will be shy when she has her first contact with new people, but she has shown that she will soon get over that initial feeling and she has a very nice character. Lady is an active dog and therefore needs people who will be active with her. Doing dog sports and activities with her would be great – and think of the exercise you will get too! We are looking for a proper family life for her and that will NOT be to hunters. Read MoreDate of birth: April 2012 High to shoulder: 50 cm Vaccinated: yes Neutered: not yet Homed: September 2014 Gus was found by the fosterer lying under a lorry. He was very weak from Ehrlichia, so he had very undernourished and very nervous of her. Slowly the fosterer started to feed him and slowly he began to trust and did not wee himself when his fosterer approached him. His finder took him to the vets who gave him antibiotics. He now lives outside in the garden with an other adopted dog, unfortunately the husband has multiple schlerosis and they can´t keep another dog. Gus is a very sweet dog. We meet Gus and he allowed us to look at his teeth and in his ears with no aggression. He even let us take his bone away and was very gentle. He loves the car and walks on a lead. He has a very kind and gentle soul and loves to play and to be stroked. He is such a lovely boy. Gus is ok with other dogs, cats and he knows children. If you want to meet or even adopt Gus, please contact us. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0C_qOFVAJKc&feature=youtu.be Related...
