Lewis (P)

Date of birth: May 2013 High to shoulder: 39 cm Vaccinated: yes Neutered: yes Homed: March 2014   Lewis was just 2 months old when he came to the shelter and he is now 8 months old. His entire, short life, has been spent there. The big wide world is foreign to him and he probably thinks there is nothing else other than the bars of his kennel and occasional walks. We do not want Lewis to spend his whole life in the shelter and wish so much a home for him. He is a cheerful, cheeky and very alert young dog. Lewis is very lively and playful, but equally just as cuddly! Of course, Lewis has a lot to learn, so a dog school here would be certainly helpful. All in all, Lewis a dog who is not fearful in the shelter and gets on well with other dogs.  He is vaccinated and neutered. For Lewis we want an athletic family, as Lewis is a young dog and has a lot of energy.   Look at Lewis here then get in touch:   Related...

Poppy (F)

Date of birth: July 2012 High to shoulder: 51 cm Vaccinated: yes Neutered: yes Homed: March 2014   Poppy was probably a throw away, who was used to being locked up before. She was starved, infested with fleas, and had major ear infection. She was terrified of people and everything, mostly men scared her. Probably never been in a domestic situation before. Poppy is petite in size. She is very gentle, loving and not aggressive at all. She adapts and learns very quickly. She walks well on leash and checks in when asked. She sits, shakes, lays down, and stays for command. She sits before she gets her food. She is house broken, and is good inside. She doesn’t have separation anxiety. She is in a designated area when alone. Slowly we are trusting her to stay in the house for longer periods of time by herself. Loves to be outside in the yard, probably would do well with access to a garden. She does well on her own outside. She doesn’t bark unnecessarily.  She is in the mid range energy wise. She is very fun to walk, or hike with. If you are interested in adopting Poppy please contact us.     Related...

Freeway (F)

Date of Birth: July 2012 High to shoulder: 46 cm Vaccinated: yes Neutered: no Homed: February 2014   Freeway was found in Limassol. His finder took him home. Before he was found he probably had a home, because he runs very well on a leash, understands commands on greek and quickly learned the english commands. He is very lovely and is probably a nearly pure-bred Labrador. He was emaciated when he was found, but has now a good weight. The vet check revealed that he is healthy. Unfortunately, he doesn´t like cats.   Who wants to give Freeway a secure future and adopt him? Please contact us if you fell in love with him. Related...

Branston (P)

Date of birth: October 2011 High to shoulder: 36 cm Vaccinated: yes Neutered: yes Homed: February 2014   Branston was found on a golf course and brought to PAWS. He has settled somewhat, but he just begs to be with people. When people go along the corridor, he hops on the lattice door, clings firmly there and tries to put his head through the doorway so he can get have some human contact.  I’ve seen it myself and I felt the warmth oozing from him. Branston is a lively young dog who likes to play and likes to have lots of action. But when people are with him, he is very calm and just wants to cuddle and takes every opportunity to get a few pats. He is a great cuddler and obviously misses this so much. For Branston, we want an active family who would enjoy taking him out and about with them, and Branston would enjoy the necessary training so that he can integrate into his new environment. He’s a smart little guy and is sure to please and not give any trouble.  The main thing for him is that he gets lots of love and finally does not have to spend most of his time without human contact. Branston understands shelter life very well and has no problems with the other dogs.   Just look at that face, how can you resist?  Just get in contact with us and we can get Branston out of this pickle (yes, pun intended!).   Related...
