She was sitting in a completely overcrowded pound where the circumstances for the dogs were catastrophic. Volunteers brought them out there and could find a place in a shelter for them. Kylie was in a physically bad condition and very frightened, so she had to be nurse back to health. Meanwhile she is recovered and vaccinated. She is still afraid of us humans in the first contact, but if we are careful and loving with her, she gains confidence very quickly and looks for us to be close to us humans. There was hardly any food for the dogs, he needed a few weeks until he was spoiled again. Now he is doing well again, but his little soul still suffers. Actually, he loves humans, but takes time to gain confidence. Only his trusted person in the shelter finds access to him, he doesn´t try to run away and cuddles up to her. Strangers are simply spooky to him. We don´t know what happened with his tail, it is too short and broken in. But he has no pain and can live with it well. Bob is looking for patient people, who are willing to show him slowly the big wide world. Would be nice when the people are experienced with fear dogs and lead him back into a life as much as possible. The owner family love dogs, but they were not able to take them home, since they have already begun to take home a lot of dogs and can not take more dog. But they took care of them on the square. They made her a safe place to sleep and was checked by the vet. Leila spent her days with the family in the parking lot. Only the customers did not like this, because Leila greeted friendly and many customers complained they did not want to be greeted by a dog. The family did not want to put Leila on the chain and so they brought her with a heavy heart to a shelter. Leile is a very friendly girl. In a new environment, she is only a bit shy, but gets used to it quickly. She is well with other dogs. Leila had almost found her family, but then the blood test revealed that she is leishmaniosis positive. The result has made all very sad. Leila is still very young and sweet, but this result will make it very difficult for her to find a family and that means for her that probably she must spend her life in the shelter. We will not give up our hope that we will find a family for Leila who will adopt her despite her illness, because even with leishmaniasis dogs can live a normal life if you deals with the disease properly. No owner was around him, so a volunteer brought him to a shelter. Gismo was already a friendly and playful boy as he came to the shelter. He loves people and their attention and he likes other dogs. Gismo is an active dog and of course he is now looking for an active family, who will do a lot with him like long walks, dog sports, play ball etc. Gismo is a strong dog with only a little education so far, so he would like to visit a dog school to learn to behave well.
