Max

Name: Max (male) Date of birth:  September 2012 Height to shoulder:  53 cm Vaccinated:  yes Neutered:  yes ok with dogs, not tested with cats Admitted to shelter:  August 2016   Max lived for a long time as a street dog in Cyprus, before he could be caught by a volunteer. Fortunately, first he found a place in a loving foster home where he could get in touch with people and have a lot of contact with other dogs. At first Max was very anxious and nervous, but gradually he put aside his shyness. After a long time in the foster home unfortunately Max was tested positive of Leishmaniasis. The chance to get a home for a darker Pointer is low in any case, but with Leishmaniasis it is almost zero. So Max had to move into a shelter, the places in foster homes are rarely and needed for dogs which fly off soon or for puppies.  Max still wants his own space. He sleeps for himself and will certainly never be a “lap dog”, who will be stroked all day. He already understands a few commandos and waits well until he is in the turn with his food. Lovely for Max would be people which have a house with a garden which must be safe, because through Max’s past he finds every small gap in the fence. Do you like dogs with their own character? Then Max is just the right one for you!   Please contact us, if you are interested in adopting him.         Related...
