Nanah – our gentle Golden Retriever lady hopes that she finds a forever loving home

Nanah lives currently in a foster home after she was found a few months ago in Kiti. The family who has found her has tried find Nanahs rightful owner. They have hung up posters of her around Kiti, they have informed the police – where Nanah was also advertised and created a own Facebook page, but apparently they didn´t want to find Nanah. Nanah is already a bit older, but a beautiful Golden Retriever lady. Her exact age can only be estimated and should be eight years, according to the vet. The Finder don´t want to bring the pretty lady in an animal shelter or even in a pound, so Nanah can remain there until she has found a nice home. Nanah likes other dogs and children. Cats are ok, she don´t care of them. She loves cuddles and the attention of people. Nanah has a rather gentle nature, but when she sees water, she splash in it like a Retriever do that.   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GemOyKxZlTs   Nanah had already some teeth pulled, but her blood count has revealed that she is healthy. We assume that Nanah was left behind because she was very skinny and therefore she suffered from muscular dystrophy. Because of malnutrition she is still a bit unstable in the rear area, but it will be better day by day and she loves her dearly walks. If you look in Nanahs soft eyes you are immediately in love with her. She exudes so much love and peace.   Please look deep in her gentle and kind eyes. Have you fallen in love? Please contact us quickly if yes. Nanah would give you her little heart for the rest of her lives.   Related...

Narnia´s happy end story

Hello everyone, it’s me, Narnia. I have been with my two mistresses in Hude/Germany since 28 February 2014. I was allowed to keep my beautiful name, even though at first I didn’t understand that it was my name! My mums tell me every day that I am a great dog, I have already learned quite a lot and never have to go anywhere else again! I slowly came to understand this and I am so happy because I have my family (a female and 2 males) who I have grown to love so much. I have been house trained from the beginning. I don’t really like to go out in the dark – that’s too scary for me. One of my two mistress asks me every night if I want to go out – but no thank you, I will just go to my basket. Men make me a little scared. If they get too close to me I bark, because their voices frighten me.  I know, I should not. Sometimes they go to the forest for a while and after 10 minutes, I feel more comfortable with men and I don’t mind if they just gently stroke me . It’s great that I never have to be home all alone, because my little friend Jeanny (a 12 -year-old Jack Russel lady ) is always there for me. She is already an elderly lady and knows how to behave. I watch her to always see how she behaves in strange situations and then I do the same as her. For example, the first time I heard and saw a strange monster in the house (the vacuum cleaner!) I have watched her and saw that she was completely relaxed, so I knew it wasn’t really a monster and I didn’t need to be scared. I believe that both my mums thought this was very good. They do say though that there is one thing I still have to work on;  my jealousy. I love so much to snuggle on the sofa with my two mums, but I don’t like it when the cats jump on there too and try to take the attention away from me – it’s my cuddle time! I really like both the cats and sometimes I cuddle with them, but not on my sofa thank you very much. Although, if my two mistresses are not with us, then it’s fine I will let them be with me on the sofa, as you can see in the pictures. I am trying hard to control myself though because I know if I don’t I won’t be allowed on the sofa at all. We go walking in the forest every day, which I find totally amazing because when we meet other dogs every sometimes I get to play with them But I don’t really like the path into the woods because there are always cars coming in both directions on the road and it still makes me very scared. But I’ll try to be brave and to get used to it so that I don´t get scared. I love to play with my tennis ball, I have always loved doing that and now I always get a treat when I return the ball. I shouldn’t really do it as my mums don´t want to have to search the whole garden to find my ball. Twice I have been to dog school and it is really fun to work there for goodies. I also understand that if I hear a ‘click’ I have got everything right. The best fun for me though is the time after the lesson when I get to romp with the other dogs. In the fenced area I can run properly and exhaust myself. Anyway, I’m the fastest of all! Hardly anyone can keep up with me. They want me to do ‘agility’ but I am not sure what that is. Well, I will indeed get to know and I am sure it till be good because so far everything they have given me new to...
