Read MoreYesterday we received pictures of the pretty poodle Fairy. Fairy could be rescued 2012 from a pound. Motionless she lay in her kennel. On the day of her discovery, there was sweltering heat and the little fairy was completely dehydrated. She was positive ehrlichiosis, a later test showed it and she had to be medically treated. After Fairy had recovered she was adopted a short time later by a German family. Fairy is very happy in Germany. She is a little princess and is very loved by her family. We are very happy for Fairy. Enjoy your life in Germany little princess. Related...

Read MoreDate of birth: September 2010 High to shoulder: 55 cm Vaccinated: yes Neutered: yes Homed: April 2014 Kevin was born about September 2010. He is castrated and vaccinated. When he was found, he was in a very bad condition but now he’s fully recovered in a loving foster home. He is a very gentle dog and loves people. He loves to be cuddled and he can’t get enough love. If you look in his face you can see his loyal character. Kevin is lively and needs some exercise. In his foster home he has already learned some basic commands and he is house trained. His behaviour shows that he has had bad experiences with people and quick movements still scare him. He can be re-homed in Cyprus, but only as an inside the house dog… not as a hunting dog and not for any other purposes except being bathed in attention and love. We would like a family who likes to cuddle him and make him a member of the family. If you are interested in Kevin, you can visit him in Mandria. We would like to meet you and make sure that you would be the right home for Kevin. Related...
Read MoreTomorrow on Friday 18th April 2014 the following dogs fly off to Hamburg to their new homes: Abby, Becky and Drake. Becky’s life until now has not been great. Although she has lived with a family she was kept outside in the garden, not allowed into the house. It is difficult for a dog to learn the behaviours we want them to have when they are just left outside. Then she came to the shelter and was looking for a nice home. Now she gets her chance in Germany. Becky is already reserved. We keep our fingers crossed. Drake could be rescued to end up in a municipality pound. He was found as a stray. Drake has a wonderful nature, loves people, liked kids and is good with cats. Also he is good with other dogs. So he is the perfect family dog. Now he gets his chance in Germany on a beautiful home. He moves into a foster home. Abby and her sister Ashy were found in a village near Larnaca. Luckily they could find space in a shelter close by. Abby is already in Germany and she is homed. Now Abby follows her to Germany. She is also already homed. Happy ending for both. We wish all dogs a smooth flight and landing and wonderful new dog lifes. We thank all the families who have opted for a dog from the animal protection. Please take good care of our treasures. They are a something special. We thank all foster families for their support. You are all a great help. Here are the arrival photos from Hamburg: Related...
