Little moments of happiness…

Little moments of happiness…

On some days they are just there, these little moments of happiness. And these little moments of happiness arise as so often, usually just by chance…

In Geesthacht/Germany a woman visited another woman and they began a smalltalk. One woman is a part of our foster family Flindt and she has a big heart, also for our dogs in Cyprus. The other woman has also a big heart for dogs and she is part of the company ISG Intermed Service GmbH & Co.KG in Geesthacht.

This company supplies since 1985 doctors, hospitals, laboratories and other healthcare facilities with medical consumables, equipment and facilities equipment. At the end of her little talk was clear that the company ISG Intermed Service GmbH & Co.KG would be happy to help us with a “small” donation.

Our foster mom Nicole Flindt drove with her rather tiny car to the premises of Intermed to pick up the donation.

What came next, made her first speechless: there were neatly packaged, thirteen large cardboard boxes containing 50 liters of disinfectant hand cleaner, various surgical gowns, face masks, gloves, swabs and bandages.

In addition, we got a private donation from the woman, who is part of the company Intermed. We got in addition of the boxes  dog baskets, bowls, towels, fur blankets and leashes.

After Nicole´s first speechlessness she stood in front of a purely logistical problem. How do she get so many boxes and then even the dog baskets in a really tiny car? But Nicole has done it.

Two days later family Flindt brought in support of foster dog Goldie the donation according to Paco Logistik GmbH in Norderstedt, so the donation can leave Germany direction Cyprus soon. It’s great to see the enthusiasm of the people in Germany to help our dogs here in Cyprus.

HeartA big thank you goes to Mrs. Hobst, Mrs. Kramer and the company ISG Intermed Service GmbH & Co.KG for the great support and the generous donation.

Now the purchase of the very expensive medical consumables will be unnecessary for some time.

A heartfelt thank you goes also to family Flindt.
