Yesterday was a big day for 5 of our treasures. They flew off to his new homes in Germany. Aboard were Lio, Kappi, Gustav, Pooh and Brenda. Lio was one of the lucky boys. He was just given up by his owner. Not to a shelter, but in a pound. Horrible for Lio. Bad luck for the formerly owner, luck for the owner. Lio was eagerly awaited from his new mommy. Lio was totally relaxed, like we would do such travels every week. His new mommy is very happy with him. The small Kappi just wanted to got out his box and then everything was ok. His people came from long distance to take his treasure in reception. They drove 5 hours one way, wow. Kappi now has a big brother, and can live in a house with a large garden. Happy little cutie. One more lucky boy was our Husky boy Gustav. His parents were very excited to meet him. For them it was love at first click. A friend of them could get to know Gustav earlier in Cyprus, and it quickly became clear that Gustav is the perfect dog for them. Gustav has boarded the plane as reserved, and driven to his new home as rehomed. So it was not just love at first click, but at first sight. Pooh’s new people were in their family holiday in Italy, when they got the call, that Pooh can the flight to Hamburg. Pooh himself came a little skeptical and carefully out of the box, he did not know how to assess the new situation. But on the arm of his new mommy he felt a lot safer and everything was alright. Pooh is now called Felix and can live in a house with a huge garden. Another dog from Cyprus was already waiting for him. The pretty Brenda was in Cyprus no longer wanted but in Germany even more. No one has expected that she is rehomed so fast, because she is already 11 years old. But his new mommy has felt in love with her very quickly and so Brenda could start her new life. So Brenda has hit the jackpot. After landing she was glad to got out of her box.. We wish our Lady many happy and loving years. A great day went to the end for our for 5 treasures. Yesterday we celebrate Mila’s 4th birthday and would like to report how fine is the little husky lady: Mila is with us since 13th March 2015. Mila has been settled in very well. She makes progress from week to week and it’s just great to see how she will be a bit confident every day. We have closed Mila into our heart. Sheeba, our first husky lady, and Mila romp around in the garden and like to go on long walks with us. Soon Mila gets her own Harness, because she has pulling in her blood. Nevertheless, she is really good on a leash. Mila has learned to have fun with toys. She has significantly less anxiety and doesn´t opened doors for several weeks and she is more and more relaxt. A great result, which we were able to achieve with the help of our dog trainer. We would like to say thanks for the great work! Thanks also to family Dietrich, who is always there for us!
