Please neuter your dogs

Every day we received requests and help calls from tourists, residents, volunteers … for help with dogs, for support, for taking dogs etc. At the moment we can only say, sorry, but all partner shelters are full, more full, fullest. All shelters are overcrowded and no, they can not take any dogs. Not 3, not 2 and even not only one. You have to imagine what it means that all kennels are full. Many dogs with different characters on a small area in the kennel. You can not put always more and more dogs in, or you want, that the dogs will go in fights with each other. We don´t want to stress the dogs more that they already are, because no shelter should be the right place for a dog! We only can appeal to all people who have dogs in Cyprus: please neuter your dogs. You all can change the dog welfare situation in future, when you neuter your dog and no unwanted puppies were procreated! It is NO solution to let their dogs procreate more and more puppies, because you don´t care and then escape your responsibility and thrown the puppies out of the streets or in front of vet practices or in garden of volunteers. They all have no space! No money! No time! only because YOU are not willing to neuter your dog. Related...
