Lola 6 (F)

Date of birth: January 2013 High to shoulder: 28 cm Vaccinated: yes Neutered: yes Homed: July 2014 Lola is a very pretty Cyprus poodle. She is very small (a flyweight) and unfortunately has only three legs. We think this has probably been the case since birth but she manages perfectly well. Lola with her best friend Harry for many weeks, after animal lovers had seen the two strays again and again and so fed them to gain teir trust. After many weeks they only managed to capture Harry, but then Lola followed. Lola is still very anxious, but when with her foster mum and her best friend Harry she feels safe and comfortable. She is a rather quiet little girl, but also loves to cuddle and play with Harry. Lola does not require long walks, not because of her disability but because she is small and doesn’t need too much exercise. For Lola a peaceful environment would be the best, a garden, a loving family and if she has a lot of luck the whole thing would be perfect if her boyfriend Harry was with her too. That would be our greatest wish for them. She and Harry have settled in well in their foster home, but any further changes will again be a new beginning for them, so they will need some patient handling to get them settled in. Date of birth: December 2011 High to shoulder: 23 cm Vaccinated: yes Neutered: yes Homed: July 2014 Zozet lived all her life in a family until they decided to leave the island and just dropped her into a shelter and left her behind. She is a very loving and nice little dog. She loves people and other dogs. She lived in her family with two more dogs, which also were left behind in the shelter. Seymour (K)

Date of birth: April 2012 High to shoulder: 35 cm Vaccinated: yes Neutered: not yet Homed: July 2014 Seymour just turned up at the gates of the shelter one day, knowing they could not resist such a pretty girl perhaps. She is a friendly dog, just a little timid when she first meets you. She is fine with other dogs although a little submissive with bigger dogs. She is fine with children but we do not yet know how she reacts to cats. Seymour is not a big dog, so wouldn’t take up much room on your sofa. She would fill your heart with love and pleasure though. Date of birth: January 2014 High to shoulder: 47 cm Vaccinated: yes Neutered: not yet Homed: July 2014 Rasmus got dumped with his two sisters Merle und Liv in front of a Municipality Pound. The pound was totally overcrowded and luckily a volunteer of the pound could find space in a shelter for all three. Before they arrived in the shelter, they got checked by a vet and vaccinated. The first days Rasmus was afraid about people, but very playful with each other. Day by day he lost fear and now loves people and other dogs. Willi (F)

Date of birth: April 2014 High to shoulder: 18 cm Vaccinated: yes Neutered: not yet Homed: July 2014 Willi, Flip and Maja were born in a home. Their mother is a Pekinese (half-breed) with short hair, the father is unknown. The three puppies were brought with their mother to a vet, who makes the first vaccination. The vet agreed to keep them until we find a good home for all, if she can sterilize the mother so she doesn´t gets babies again and again… and so it was done. The three puppies are now at the vet and we hope that we will find the right forever home for each of them. Maja is a small curly girl and has a sugar-sweet face. Willi has a bit shorter fur, and is a stocky and short-legged boy. Flip is bouncing all the time. He is an active little boy. Otherwise we can´t say a lot about the characters, except that they still had any bad experiences with people and they just enjoy her puppy existence at the moment. They play, eat and sleep a lot.
