Bodger

Date of birth: October 2013 High to shoulder: 30 cm Vaccinated: yes Neutered: not yet Homed: October 2014 This little boy was found on the main road in the little village of Prastio. How he did not get run over I do not know as several cars drove past him nearly knocking him down and without stopping. Luckily for him a kind person stopped and he is now being looked after in a loving foster home until he can find a permanent home. He has obviously not come from a good home as he is very thin, his coat was full of ticks, fleas and grass seeds which unfortunately had to be cut out. He also has abrasions in both eyes but with medication these will clear. He is very loving and obedient but is frightened of loud noises and sudden movement. He will walk on a lead without pulling and is clean indoors. Bodger is about 9 – 12 months old and almost fully grown. Once he has been fed properly, puts on a bit of weight and his fur grows back he will be a very special little boy and make a wonderful addition to any home. They could happily stay with a foster home and was nursed and reared there. Unfortunately, both now had to pull to a shelter because they had to leave the foster home. We wish Luna quickly a nice home where she can stay forever. Luna is a cute little puppy girl, which is typical playful and active. She loves cuddles and people’s attention. Timmy 2 (F)

Date of birth: June 2013 High to shoulder: 39 cm Vaccinated: yes Neutered: yes Homed: October 2014 Timmy was spotted over several weeks in Limassol and animal lovers tried to gain his trust. It wasn’t easy but they succeeded.. He was totally unkempt, with his long coat dishevelled, and so the first thing was a new hairstyle! Now Timmy looks beautiful. His fur is silky and long and with proper care, much like the coat of a Yorkshire terrier. What a handsome fellow. Timmy is wary of strangers and still needs some time before he gains full confidence, but he is making progress. He loves to be petted. Unfortunately, Timmy is a bit of an escape artist, so he needs a home with a secure garden, because he loves to set off alone on field trips!! From time to time he has strayed but we think once he has his own proper home he will settle down and never want to leave.. In his foster Timmy became very stressed because as there were too many other dogs there. He does not get along with other male dogs and which gives him even more stress but he gets along fine with the girls! Currently Timmy lives in the PAWS Shelter because the foster home with lots of dogs was just too stressful for him. At the shelter he lives with 4 female dogs and has no problems at all with that situation. Also he is gainingmore and more confidenc with the helpers there and is more willing to interact with them. His ideal home would be as a single dog or with a small female dog friend. We want Timmy to go with people with experience of dogs who can consolidate his development to date and pave the way for him to live comfortably in a family. Timmy has a lot of love to give and will be a very great family dog. Since he lived a long time ‘on the road’ we do not know what experience he has with children, so we prefer families without young children but maybe with older children.
