Candy

Fortunately she was to a shelter and not to a pound. Candy was covered with ticks and fleas. She was obviously a while on the streets. Candy is not very small but dainty. She is still traumatized by the experiences she has made and so she is very shy and timid. We are sure that she will lern to trust people, but we do not know when she will be able to do that. Candy is a very gentle and friendly dog. She gets along well with other dogs. Dora

Date of birth: February 2015 High to shoulder: currently 30 cm Vaccinated: yes Neutered: not yet Homed: September 2015 Meet Dora, the cutest little girl you will find! Dora somehow arrived in the garden of her foster mum and dad’s neighbour, in the heat of the summer in Cyprus. We have no idea how she got there, but she was hungry, thirsty, frightened and tired. Dora is about 6 months old and just loves to play. She gets on very well with her foster dog siblings, Marley and Bambi. She enjoys chasing round the garden at high speed with Marley (as you can see in the video), but also enjoys cuddling up with Bambi too when the playing stops. She is nicknamed Dora the Explorer by her foster family as she loves to go exploring round the garden and is very inquisitive. She is very happy to have the company of humans and other dogs, and is very good with children. She hasn’t met any cats yet. Dora is learning very quickly about house training, is currently learning to walk on her lead in the garden and can’t wait to have all her vaccinations complete so that she can go out for a proper walk with her friends. She loves her food and knows how to ‘sit’ before eating. Dora would make the perfect family member as she is so loving and as she is a tiny little thing, she doesn’t take up much room either! She would learn very quickly at doggy school and would certainly enjoy the experience. Her foster family love her to bits and want her to have the chance of her very own forever family. Eddy

Date of birth: June 2010 High to shoulder: 60 cm Vaccinated: yes Neutered: yes Homed: September 2015 Eddy lived as a stray near a pig farm. The workers of the farm provided him with food and water and he gained confidence to them. Unfortunately the farmers threatened to poison Eddy, so the workers could not protect him and they sought a place in a shelter for him. Eddy was initially a little shy when he came to the shelter. Meanwhile, he has settled in and he is now a very charming boy and shows us his gentle and loving nature. Eddy gets along well with other dogs and has no problems in groups with other dogs. Fibi

Luckily she found with her kids space in a shelter. Fibi is a very nice little dog, a little timed because of bad treatment by people, but she is an excellent mother. Buddy

Date of birth: November 2014 High to shoulder: 63 cm Vaccinated: yes Neutered: yes Homed: September 2015 Buddy lived together with a second shepherd cross on a short chain. They got food and water, but that was the only variety in their lives. Both dogs found a place in a shelter. Here they have more room to run and people around them. Buddy and his buddy were distraught when they came to the shelter. They were scared of humans but also very restless and full of energy that they wanted to let out. Also they had no education in dog training. Meanwhile, they are almost completed fears free and they are no longer restless, but they miss a little dog training. Buddy has a very pleasant character and is rather quiet. He is now looking for a family who loves him, working with him and want to be active with him. Animal rights activists were able to save him from there and brought him in a shelter. His behavior shows us that his past life was the horror. Poncho is very anxious. The volunteers train with him. He begins to trust the shelter workers, they can take him in her arms.
