Mogly

Mogly is still very young, but he must have had bad experiences in his short life. He gets along well with other dogs, but he is afraid of most of us humans. The shelter workers try to help him that he get over about his fears, but the time in the shelter is limited and he needs more training and cuddles. Unfortunately, someone docked his tail, we don´t know why. Mogly is now looking for a loving family that helps him to overcome his fears. Scruffy

Date of birth: November 2013 High to shoulder: 25 cm Vaccinated: yes Neutered: Yes Homed: November 2015 Scruffy is a small sized 18 month old Terrier mix with tiger pattern coat. He was dumped at the parking lot of Park2fly near the airport. He had a very bad head wound, it was touch and go for a while but he recovered with no ill effects. Scruffy is very playful, good with kids and other dogs. He has not been exposed to cats yet. He is very good on the lead and follows simple commands. Kiki

Date of birth: February 2011 High to shoulder: 53 cm Vaccinated: yes Neutered: not yet Homed: November 2015 Kiki was rescued together with her four puppies. She had five puppies, but unfortunately, one of her pups did not survive pound. When Kiki came to the shelter she was tired and exhausted and we observed that the puppies were too exhausting for her. Then we separated her from her pups because they were already old enough and then Kiki was able to recover. Kiki is fine now. She is very people oriented and she is well with other dogs. She is active and willing to learn and she would love to go to a family who is active with her. Kiki would like to go together with her family to a dog school. Morino

Canny

Date of birth: August 2015 High to shoulder: 28 cm Vaccinated: yes Neutered: no Homed: November 2015 Canny, her three sisters and two brothers were born near of Paphos under a bush. We guess, that the mom was exposed. For the mother (a Husky mix breed) we could find a foster home, unfortunately, her puppies has to move to a shelter. Fortunately, the puppies ate already dog food. All puppies were very shy as they came to the shelter, because they had never contact to people before. But all 6 pups learn very quick and now are all lovely and became cuddly little puppies. Jana

Date of birth: June 2011 High to shoulder: 54 cm Vaccinated: yes Neutered: not yet Homed: October 2015 Jana was found in the garden of a family. At this time she was pregnant. Unfortunately, the family could not keep her, because they have already 3 big dogs, but Jana could stay there for 2 weeks, so that Jana could give birth her babies there. Since the puppies are 2 weeks old the whole family live in the shelter. Jana is a very friendly girl and she very careful and patient to her puppies. She has not afraid of people, loves cuddles and is very trainable. With the other dogs at the shelter Jana is very good, only when things get too much turbulent for her she just goes away and looks for a quieter place.
