Arrival of 8 lucky fellows on 7th September 2016 in Hamburg
Wednesday 7th September 2016 was a wonderful day for 8 of our Cyprus paws. Isabella, Bella, Boyce, Jody, Chino, Jay Zee, Miri and Sven were allowed to fly off to freedom. All babies flown off to their foster homes, 4 of them have already found their forever home in Germany. All are happy little pooches, so we are sure, that the rest will find their forever home soon. Name: Petra (female) Date of birth: March 2012 High to shoulder: 54 cm Vaccinated: yes Neutered: yes ok with dogs Homed: September 2016 Petra is one of the victims of the hunting season. She was left alone by a hunter. She was found as she wandered around a hotel resort in Cyprus. A employees took her and found a place in the shelter for her. Petra was emaciated, filthy and riddled with ticks. We assume that she was already on the way for a while. After a bath and the visit to the vet – where check revealed that she is underweight but healthy – and a few nights sleeping in the shelter, Petra has quickly recovered from the exertions of her journey. She could quickly release her fears of us and now she loves every second she can get love and cuddles from the helpers. She is also very friendly with other dogs. Caeser had no good life before he came to the shelter. He had to live on a very short chain, where he was not protected from wind and weather. The owner didn´t fed him, and he had not regular water. Kessy is a beautiful Alsatian cross girl. She was abandoned on a farm outside Nicosia’s and was brought to a shelter. We guess that Kessy had already a home before, because he is not afraid of us humans and has a very loving character. She is playful and gets along well with other dogs.
