Unfortunately, Albert was not microchipped and his owner could not be found. We assume, that he has been exposed. Albert has no tail, only a small stub, but it looks like he was born without a tail. When he came to the shelter, he was very shy, which got already better and now he trusts the shelter helpers. He has a gentle character and understood very well with other dogs. Albert would like to have an active home, because he loves it to run. He would like to go on long walks and to visit a dog school. Our girl Helen is in her foster home in Germany since a while and is still looking for her forever family. She can be visited in Norderstedt near Hamburg. Helen is one of our dogs which get a chance instead she is tested positive for leishmaniasis. She is doing great and shows no signs of illness. She gets one pill twice a day of Allopurinol and she is happy like the other dogs in the family. Helen is a very charming girl. She is looking for attention, love and cuddles. Name: Hilde (female) Date of birth: March 2016 Height to shoulder: 29 cm Vaccinated: yes Neutered: yes ok with dogs, not tested with cats Homed: December 2016 Hilde was taken up in a village and landed in a pound. The mayor of the village tried his best to help the animals and called a rescuer, who quickly took the baby out of the pound. Hilde was very shy. Surely she had not much contact to humans in her life. In the shelter she had initially difficulties to trust us. Unfortunately, the helpers didn´t have the time to deal intensively with Hilde. Therefore, she has now taken a to a home of one of the helpers to build her trust in humans. Every day she builds more confidence and we hope that she trust humans completely soon. Hilde can not stay for a longer time in this foster home, so we hope that she will find her forever home soon. With other dogs she is well, but she prefer to go back when these are too stormy.
