Oscar is reunited with Petra
After years in the shelter Oscar got his chance to leave the shelter. Finally! It could not get much better. He landed in Hamburg and was allowed to move to his foster home. His foster home is the family of our girl Petra, his formerly best friend in the shelter. They were together in one kennel. We are very happy for our boy for now. But in future he needs his own forever home. So he is still looking for his people. Oscar is a very charming boy. He is good in the house and outside too. This is an area where dogs are often exposed. We do not know how long she was already there. She gave birth there her puppies. Fortunately, Yasmine and her puppies were captured by a volunteer and were brought to a shelter. Yasmine has already taken care of her puppies at the port, so she moved into a kennel with her children, who have already been around 5 months old. Yasmine is a very nice girl, she is not shy, which makes it quite clear that she had a home before. She is looking for the attention of people and loves to get cuddles. Their mother was probably already pregnant as she was exposed. The siblings have found a place in a shelter before the winter starts and the rain and the cold comes. The boys are still a bit shy because of their lack of human contact so far, but they are still young and will lose their shyness to people daily. We are hopeful that they will be quite normal cheerful puppies soon. They are very good with the other puppies in their group, they play and show no fears. Both were brought to a shelter by their finders. Helen was very anxious when she came to the shelter, but could now reduce her fears. She runs no longer away from us and comes to be stroked, but she is still very submissive. Helen is neutered and vaccinated and had the great hope to find a forever home soon, but then unfortunately she was tested positive of leishmaniasis. She is treated and gets medication but she has no sign of illness. She is a lively little girl wishes so much to have her own family.
