His physical condition was already so bad that he would not have survived much longer. He was emaciated, very weak and his teeth were in such a bad condition, that he could hardly eat. After rescuing, he had a dental treatment. Paulo is now a while in a shelter and has recovered well and is again full of vitality. He is no longer shy, but full of energy. He gets along well with the other dogs in his kennel group. Paulo is now looking for his forever family who loves him and is active with him. Name: Caleb (male) Date of birth: June 2014 Height to shoulder: 25 cm Vaccinated: yes Neutered: yes ok with dogs, not tested with cats Homed: April 2017 Caleb was released with three other dogs in cooperation with the vet from bad condition and fortunately they have found a place in a shelter. All four lived in a chaotic and not clean garden of a family. The family didn´t cared for the dogs, the dogs didn´t even had a warm place to sleep. A neighbor arranged places in a shelter for them and then he informed the authority, which became active. Unfortunately through the lack of human contact all fours are very shy. When they came to the shelter they were completely distraught and were very afraid. In the meantime they are happy when people come to their kennels and approach them. They run no longer away, but can be caressed and taken in the arm. They understand now that hands are there for food and cuddles. They love there new warm baskets and the regular food. They get more confidence week by week, but it can be that each of them will ever be a shy dog. They are now looking for a new home, where they will be loved to the moon and back. Unfortunately her finder had no luck to find a home for Elli, so he has to bring her in a shelter. Elli is people oriented, but with unknown people she is a bit shy at first. Known people get her entire love. With other dogs she gets along well. Elli needs to learn a lot. She can walk on a leash, but can not walk freely. Maybe she never had to learn it before.
