Date of birth: August 2012 High to shoulder: 52 cm Vaccinated: yes Neutered: not yet Homed: April 2014 Luca has actually smuggled himself onto the page! Perhaps he realizes that this is his only chance for a beautiful home? In my attempts to photograph another dog, I did manage to separate that particular dog from the pack – but never without Luca! Luca was in every kennel before I had the opportunity to close the door. So I decided to go ahead and photograph the other dog, with Luca just laying down and watching the proceedings. When I stroked Luca, I realized just how much he enjoyed it and what a very, very gentle and rather affectionate dog he is. As you can see though, at present he is much too thin. Luca was just abandoned at the gates of the shelter. Perhaps he has failed to make the grade as a hunting dog? We will never know. One thing we do know: Luca is a dog that reaches straight to your heart. His whole being and his style, everything about him is adorable. And what a poser!!! He certainly knows how to work that camera. Luca is a great dog. Of course he has never had training and therefore will have to learn everything, but if you are a family who has that time and love to give you will get a great dog buddy, whose gratitude you will see every day in his eyes. Date of birth: April 2013 High to shoulder: 33 cm Vaccinated: yes Neutered: not yet Homed: April 2014 Shaggy was found at the beach by one of the shelter volunteers, when she walked her dogs. There were no houses and no other people. By the look of Shaggy it was obvious that he must have been there for a while already. He was so happy that she took notice of him and took him with her. Shaggy is not chipped and since there were no houses around, he must have been dumped at the beach. Shaggy is a very friendly and playful little dog. He loves people, kids and is ok with cats.
