Date of birth: September 2010 High to shoulder: 50 cm Vaccinated: yes Neutered: yes Homed: May 2014 Beethoven was released together with his sons Petzas and Tom at the shelter after he has spent his life in a home. All three dogs were very unhappy at the shelter. Beethoven was the first of the three dogs that have been adopted. After a few weeks, the people brought back Beethoven with the note: he has bitten visitors and partially reacts aggressively to other people. How exactly it is expired we don´t know. We were told that the visit Beethoven has spoiled with treats and when they got up, he has bitten… So Beethoven was back to the shelter. What to do with a dog that bites. We have trained a lot with Beethoven and we have found out that Beethoven is not aggressive. Maybe he was beset of the visit to his former owners. Beethoven needs leadership. But he is a nice dog. He loves to be petted, but he must always know that he is not the boss. Beethoven is very intelligent and eager to learn, so training would be very important for him. Would you like to give Beethoven a chance? Then please contact us. Related...

Read MoreDate of birth: February 2014 High to shoulder: 19 cm Vaccinated: yes Neutered: not yet Homed: May 2014 Say hello to little Lonnie. Laura, Lukas, Lonnie and Liam belong to a union of four who were dumped at the end of February at the gates of PAWS. The four were then about 2 weeks old and had no chance of survival if they could get a place in a foster home. Two of the puppies have been homed here on the island and only Lonnie and Lukas, are still looking for their own home. All puppies have recovered magnificently in the foster home, and even now at 12 weeks old they are still small dogs, compared to other puppies of the same age in the foster home. So it is becoming apparent that they are small to medium in size. They have no fear of people and can not remember ever having experienced anything bad. So they just enjoy their existence playing and running, when they are not sleeping. If you want to give Lonnie a home, please contact us. This lovely little boy will be ready to leave in late May / early June, so start planning the fun you will have with them now! Related...
