Three puppies are already adopted and only Mabel, Marcus and Melody are still looking for a home. We assume that all three will be are small to medium sized dogs. The pound was totally overcrowded and luckily a volunteer of the pound could find space in a shelter for all three. Before they arrived in the shelter, they got checked by a vet and vaccinated. The first days Merle was afraid about people, but very playful with each other. Day by day she lost fear and now loves people and other dogs. The woman became ill and the family could no longer sufficient the care for the dogs. Vinnie and Holly are very affectionate and woken dogs and miss the human attention and cuddles very much. Both dogs are fully vaccinated and have an european passport. A very big dream of all volunteers at the shelter is that the two could stay together. In a pinch we could also separate the two. For some time, she has lived in a foster home and is slowly beginning to trust people again. But she has definitely had bad experiences in her past as she is still very wary of strangers and anything new. However, we do see that she wants to make friends and she is fighting hard to overcome her fear. Dilys has the typical character of a Cypriot dog. Despite her bad experiences she never shows any aggression, but is submissive, crouching, with fast movements, and her whole body language is just pure submission and appeasement. However, once she realizes that nothing bad is going to happen to her, she can not get enough cuddles! She cuddles for her life happy and is very gentle. Dilys would be ideal for people who want to devote themselves to a dog that needs help to have a new life. It is always a special experience to help such a dog, as they slowly begin to enjoy their lives, play and just be normal, but it also requires patience and empathy.
