We assume , that they were abondoned there and left to their certain death. In the enormous heat that just exists on Cyprus, they would sooner or later die of thirst and internally dry. All puppies were absolutely filthy and over and over full of fleas. Soon they had sucked the last blood. They were rescued and are now living in a shelter. They all have recovered, the fleas are gone and all puppies are normal playful puppies who enjoy their lives. They have a lot of fun together. Date of birth: February 2014 High to shoulder: 39 cm Vaccinated: yes Neutered: not yet Homed: July 2014 As Choccy has been found he was completely dehydrated, could keep neither food nor liquid down, and first had to spend some days on a drip in an animal hospital. Choccy proved to be a fighter and recovered, but unfortunately there were also setbacks from time to time. One time it was an upset stomach, another time an allergic reaction to the vaccine, and now and then he limps a little. The vet says there is nothing broken, but a probably a pulled muscle which takes a long time to heal. Choccy lives with one of the shelter managers in their home because he was so weak for a long time. Only thanks to the special care did he survived and we are all very happy about it. His foster home he shares with a cat and has no problem with that. Every Wednesday he comes to the shelter and is pampered and cuddled by all helpers. Choccy shows no special fears and is happy about any amount of fuss from anyone. When he spends time alone he is fine and also is happy to travel in the car. Even as it turned out that her new mum developed an allergy there was no way, that they would give her away again. They life in a house with garden and the family arranged the life with LouLou, that the allergy problem could be handled. But now the family has to leave Cyprus and have to move into a flat, and because of the allergy problem they can’t take her with them. It’s heartbreaking for the family, but they have to look for a new home for the little girl. LouLou is a very sweet little girl, with new people she is in the beginning very shy and it takes a moment to get her trust. But if she trusts you, she is the most cuddly, sweet and loyal little dog.
