Luna writes: I landed on 8th October 2014 with my brother Benji and six other Cyprus paws in Hamburg. It was so exciting when I was allowed to leave my box I was really fidgety. On the way to my foster home my foster mom told me, that a family had inquired after me. Hard to believe, I was not even in the right place, some one was interested in me? Me? Really? Of course I wanted to make a good impression and behaved well in the house. In our walk there were a few things that unsettled me a bit. But my foster family was always by my side and showed me that there was no reason to be afraid. Well, and what can I say, after 6 days the new family visited me. As the people stood there before me, I was probably so excited that I started to bark, I have not even dared to take the treats! Oh dear, what had I done? But later everything was ok and we had a cuddly time. They drove back home and wanted to sleep one night about their decision. But they didn´t! The family had already agreed on their trip back home! They WANTED ME! That same evening my new mommy embroidered a beautiful snuggly blanket! My foster family and I could not believe it, I had a luck! Two days after that visit my new mommy came to pick me up! Now I live with my new family and I am sooo fine! A big THANK YOU to all who have supported me thus far! Date of birth: October 2013 High to shoulder: 30 cm Vaccinated: yes Neutered: not yet Homed: October 2014 This little boy was found on the main road in the little village of Prastio. How he did not get run over I do not know as several cars drove past him nearly knocking him down and without stopping. Luckily for him a kind person stopped and he is now being looked after in a loving foster home until he can find a permanent home. He has obviously not come from a good home as he is very thin, his coat was full of ticks, fleas and grass seeds which unfortunately had to be cut out. He also has abrasions in both eyes but with medication these will clear. He is very loving and obedient but is frightened of loud noises and sudden movement. He will walk on a lead without pulling and is clean indoors. Bodger is about 9 – 12 months old and almost fully grown. Once he has been fed properly, puts on a bit of weight and his fur grows back he will be a very special little boy and make a wonderful addition to any home. In his foster home he is being socialised with two large dogs, puppies and cats so will fit in well in any environment. If you want to adopt our little Bodger, then please contact us. Related...
