The flight on Tuesday 6th October was a very special flight, or should we say a special flight to somewhat mitigate the backlog which unfortunately was created by some flight cancellations in recent times. We would like to thank the Flugpaten which made this possible. It’s not every day that we get such offers. There were three dogs which were allowed to fly, namely Jenny, Boo Boo and Flori. All three were adopted and were picked up by the new owners in Munich, although the routes to the airport could´t have been longer. So also a thank you to the new owners for picking up the dogs despite the long journey to the airport. For our treasures no distance is too far, right? Boo Boo, the 5-years-old small and beautiful cocker spaniel girl was adopted by france people. She lives now a happy dog life in Alsace. Jenny is the second of 5 siblings, according to Joker, who was allowed to fly off to a better life. Jenny lives now with her new family in Hesse/Germany. Flori, the 1-years-old poodle/terrier mix breed, found very quickly a new home in Germany. He will live now with his new family on Lake Constance. We got already a little feedback from our boy Flori from his new home: After a long journey from Munich to Lake Constance and crossing the same I have found a great new basket in my new home. I slept now in the room where my little owner sleep. I find it really great, because I don´t have to sleep alone from now on. I slept quite nice and the family had no problems with me in the first night. On the next morning I already explored the lake. It was quite windy, and the wind have blown my cute fur from site to site. But I think I like it here. Many greetings from Germany your Flori We received also the first pictures from Boo Boo. She is a very happy girl in her new home: Related...
Read MoreHello, Kisha is now with us since the 1st of September 2015 and she has brought so much joy into our home. With the time she got more and more confidence. Her new best friend Hannes helps her a lot. Only the barking from other dogs makes Kisha bit scared, but even that is a lot better than at the beginning. Kisha is a small very playful dog and she is really willing to lern. She loves to romp through the fields, and she loves the sea. Kisha is also great with other dogs, she love the ones with floppy ears. She find them very cuddly. Kisha and Hannes are a very great team from the first minute and now Kisha probably thinks she is a small Hovawart. We are very happy that this sweet little dog is now a part of our family and we enjoy every day with her. Our thanks goes to all involved people which made it possible that Kisha is now with us. Thank you! You will hear more from us in the future, your Kira and her family Related...

Read MoreMaybe you ask yourself – who is Mila? Mila was not yet on our rehoming site, because as we found Mila, she was very ill and we doesn´t know if she can survive or not. After a surgery and one week in the clinic we had the great hope, that our beautiful girl will survive. But unfortunately, now, 4 weeks later we had to say goodbye to her. From the beginning: Mila was found as a stray. She was wandering around with a very strange way to walk. After a look we saw that Mila had problems with her legs, so we brought her to a vet. The X-ray´s were a shock for us. Mila must have had a car accident, so she had a totally damaged hip on the one side. The hip were so damaged, that the hip was already in her intestine and so she couldn´t got off her poo anymore. After a surgery Mila was fine, but, the vet could only empty her intestine. They couldn´t operate the hip, because it was a very old fracture. So Mila´s only chance to live was to get soft food and a lot of hope´s that she could poo from this time on. On the last weekend we noticed that Mila had again problems with her intestine. The vet tried everything, but Mila didn´t make it. We had to say goodbye to her and we are very very sad about this. Mila was such a sweetheart. She was the kindest dog you can imagine. What can we say after that? People in Cyprus, please drive carefully. You never know if there is an animal on the way to across the streets. If there is something happened and you hit an animal, then please stop your car and bring the animal to a clinic. They need our help! Thank you, your CyDRA – Team Related...
