Animal Antics Pet Club – The Silverline Private School

Animal Antics Pet Club – The Silverline Private School

Monday the 17th November saw us all get together for the last Pet Club of 2014.

We are very sad that it was also Carole Husein’s last ever Pet Club here as she heads for ‘fresher’ climes!!  We all thank Carole so much for her work, not only with the Pet Club, in all areas of animal welfare and Education and Training since she has been working with us.  We will all miss her, and of course Sally and Ace.

As this was the last Club day for this year the children had been asked to bring in their special folders.  There was some great work done on the folders and a few prizes were given out foe special efforts.

Whilst we were busy reviewing and judging the folders the children were given some coloured modelling clay and asked to make a model of either Sally or Marley.  As you can see from the pictures there were some amazing models – what talent there is out there!!

Again, these were judged and some prizes given along with special prizes for different categories.  In fact, every member went home with something so well done to them all.

We hope to be able to run the club again next year, but we are very low on volunteers.  If there is anyone out there who would like to join us we would love to hear from you.  It’s only an hour a week in school.  Send us a message via the web site if you are interested or email us at:

Thanks to all the children who have joined in with the Pet Club and shared their own thoughts and ideas with us.
